In recent oral implantology, important key words have always guided us to the latest scientific trends. Bone graft, GBR, Sinus floor elevation, socket preservation, immediate implant placement, computer guided surgery, overdentures, implant surface characteristics, platform switching and peri-implantitis are the key words chosen by Thomson Reuters, the company that invented journal “impact factor” in the 60s.
