WHY THE NEED FOR SURGICAL GUIDED IMPLANTS?
Dr. Smiler will share his experience and knowledge in depth focusing on the need of CAD/CAM-guided implant surgery system in our daily practice from the perspective of an oral & maxillofacial surgeon with over 40 years of implant surgery.
He will briefly share the early use of guided implant surgery in his practice. He will discuss the possible disastrous consequences of “free hand” implant placement as relates to esthetic placement, the invasion of anatomic structures, injury to the inferior alveolar nerve and prosthetic complications even in “simple” single implant case.
He will also share his clinical cases using the innovative CAD/CAM-guided implant surgery system.
